Preventive Eye Care Screening
Smartphone-based, AI-assisted eye screening that helps families, schools and outreach camps identify who needs to see an eye specialist — early, simply and affordably.

Many common eye conditions are easier to manage when they are caught early, yet routine eye checks remain out of reach for millions — especially children and people in remote areas. Specialist equipment is costly and specialists are concentrated in cities.
Our preventive eye-care app turns a smartphone into a first line of screening. Guided capture and AI-assisted analysis help a parent, teacher or trained volunteer complete a structured check in minutes, and flag anyone who should be examined by an eye-care professional.
The app is being developed with ophthalmology input and partner eye-care networks, including an MoU in progress with Vivekananda Netralaya, a Ramakrishna Mission initiative — so that every flag leads somewhere useful.
The first eye test often comes too late
Without easy access to screening, early signs go unnoticed until they affect learning, work or quality of life.
Specialist screening equipment is expensive and rarely available outside cities
Children often can't tell anyone that they can't see clearly
Outreach camps struggle to screen large numbers quickly and consistently
Screening results rarely connect to an actual follow-up appointment
