Preventive care, screened straight from a smartphone.
Most avoidable vision loss and many lifestyle conditions share one thing: they are found too late. Specialist screening equipment is expensive, concentrated in cities and often a long journey away for the families who need it most. We started with a simple question — what if the first check could happen on the phone already in someone's pocket?
Happy Health Innovations™ AI Health Apps use the smartphone camera and guided, AI-assisted workflows to run structured preventive screenings. Results are explained in plain language, flagged when a follow-up is advisable, and routed to a qualified professional or partner network — so a screening becomes a pathway to care, not just a number.
The apps are being developed alongside clinicians and care partners, with partnership discussions in progress with Healthians, an MoU in progress with Vivekananda Netralaya (a Ramakrishna Mission initiative), and a computer vision partnership with Vision Lab. The platform directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 — Good Health & Well-Being.
Accessible by design
Runs on everyday smartphones with guided capture, so screening can happen at home, in a classroom or at a rural camp — not only in a specialist clinic.
Early, not late
Structured preventive checks are designed to surface risk signals earlier, when follow-up care is simpler, less costly and more effective.
Built with clinicians
Screening flows, thresholds and referral guidance are shaped with practising specialists and care partners, not in isolation.
A pathway to care
Every screening ends with a clear next step — reassurance, self-care guidance or a referral to a qualified professional or partner centre.
Solutions within Health Apps
Each solution can be adopted on its own or combined with the rest of the platform.
What it can do

On-screen guidance for lighting, distance and alignment helps non-specialists capture usable images first time.

Plain-language results
Clear, jargon-free summaries for individuals and families, with multilingual support on the roadmap.
Referral routing
Flagged results can be routed to partner clinics, diagnostic networks or camp doctors for follow-up.
Camp & programme mode
Batch screening workflows for schools, CSR programmes and community camps, with consolidated reporting.
Low-connectivity ready
Designed for field conditions, with capture and queueing that tolerate patchy networks.
Privacy-first handling
Consent-led data capture, role-based access and minimal data retention by default.
